The University of Tennessee is undergoing an ongoing campus-wide transformation, retrofitting its traditional lighting with custom RGBW LED technology. This project allows the university to celebrate its heritage by broadcasting signature orange and white across the campus on game days and during special events.
Smart Solutions for Iconic Architecture
The architectural lighting for the historic Ayers Hall Building and Tower was completely redone using GC-RGBW-FL fixtures. These fixtures were chosen for their ability to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding campus lighting, all controlled through a single platform.
Seamless Integration & Control
To ensure a unified experience across various applications—from the Tickle Bridge to the Student Union Bridge handrails—the entire system utilizes Casambi BLE technology. This Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) control grants facility personnel ease of control like never before, allowing for instant coordination of colors and intensity across the entire installation.
